Creamed String Bean Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb. fresh string beansSalt to taste
3-4 tbsp. flour
2 qt. water
3 c. milk
1/2 pt. sour cream
3 tbsp. vinegar
Cooking Directions:
Cook beans in salted water. Mix flour with small amount of water smooth. Add sour cream and milk; mix well. When beans are cooked, pour cream mixture over beans, add vinegar. Let soup come to a boil. Serve hot.Other Recipes you might like:
