Soused Apple Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

4 c. apples, coarsely chopped
6 tbsp. bourbon
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. salad oil
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. walnuts
1 c. raisins

Cooking Directions:

Soak apples in bourbon. Beat together sugar, oil and eggs. Sift dry ingredients. Add to first mixture. Add apples, raisins and nuts. Grease and flour 9 x 13 inch metal dish. Cook about 1 hour. Keeps well. Good with whipped cream topping.
