Chinese Barbeque Meatballs Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground turkey1/4 c. oatmeal
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. dry white wine
1 1/4 c. water
2 cloves minced garlic
3 tbsp. honey
1/2 tsp. fennel seed
1/2 tsp. 5-spice powder
Cooking Directions:
Mix turkey, oatmeal, onion, and ginger. Form into small balls. Place in shallow dish. Mix remaining ingredients and bring to slow boil. Allow to cool and pour over meatballs. Marinate for 1 hour turning meatballs periodically (longer if you like, I do 3 hours). Drain marinade and save. Brown meatballs and then pour marinade over them. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with rice. Makes approximately 20 meatballs.Other Recipes you might like:
