Pecan Pastries Recipe
Ingredients:
1 stick softened butter3 oz. softened cream cheese
1 c. plain flour
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
Cooking Directions:
Mix butter and cream cheese well. Add flour and mix with fork. Form into balls and divide dough into 12 parts. Roll each part into small ball, then flatten and put in greased muffin pan. Set aside.FILLING:
1 c. brown sugar2 tbsp. melted butter1 tsp. vanilla2 eggs1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
Beat eggs with spoon until mixed well. Add brown sugar, melted butter and vanilla. Add pecans. Pour into prepared pie shells. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 25 minutes. Cool slightly. Remove from pan carefully. Yields: 12 pastries.
