Chinese Spare Ribs Recipe

Ingredients:

3 lb. spareribs
1/2 c. vinegar
1/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. soy sauce

Cooking Directions:

Cut ribs in small pieces. Bake in oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Pour off the accumulated (moderate) fat.

Prepare sauce, combining vinegar, sugar, cornstarch and soy sauce. Heat over low heat until sauce thickens. Pour the sauce over the ribs and bake in a slow oven for another 45 minutes. Stir the ribs occasionally to be sure all the ribs are coated.
