Pork With Beans & Bacon Recipe

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lbs. lean pork, cubed
3 tbsp. seasoned flour
2 fl. oz. oil
1 lg. onion, sliced
4 slices bacon, chopped
14 oz. can baked beans
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 pt. chicken stock

Cooking Directions:

Coat pork cubes with flour and heat oil in frying pan. Add onion and bacon and fry for 5 minutes. Add pork and fry for 5 to 8 minutes or until evenly browned. Add beans and cayenne pepper.

Gradually add the stock and bring to the boil, stirring occasionally. Transfer to a casserole dish and cover tightly. Put into a preheated oven to gas mark 4 180 degrees C., 350 degrees F. and cook for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until pork is cooked thoroughly.
