1. Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca
1 heaping tbsp. chopped garlic, 2 cans flat anchovies, chopped & their oil, 1 lg. Spanish or other sweet onion, chopped, 1 Italian frying pepper or small bell pepper, 1 can diced chili peppers, or 1 fresh hot chili, diced, 2 lg. cans imported Italian plum tomatoes, 2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper, 2 tsp. finely chopped fresh oregano, 2 tbsp. finely chopped Italian (flat leaf, not curly) parsley, 1 sm. bottle capers, drained & rinsed, 12 imported black olives (any good, non-salty variety), pitted & cut in quarters, 12 imported green olives, Optional: Tabasco or other hot pepper sauce, to taste

1/4 c. olive oil, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 4 garlic cloves, sliced, 1/2 tsp. dried red pepper flakes, 1 (28 oz.) can Italian plum tomatoes, chopped (reserve 1 1/2 c. juices), 1/2 tsp. salt, 12 brine-cured black olives (or reg. pitted black olives, sliced in half), 7 anchovy fillets, drained & coarsely chopped, 2 1/2 tbsp. chopped drained capers, 12 oz. linguine, Parmesan cheese for when served

1 1/2 lb. pasta, 2 tbsp. oil, 2 tbsp. butter, 8 anchovies, minced, 1 can tomatoes, 1/2 c. pitted black olives, 1/4 c. capers, 2 cans white chunk tuna, Parsley, Oregano, Basil, 1/2 stick butter, 1 clove garlic, minced

4 cloves garlic, chopped, 1/4 c. anchovy paste, 2 tbsp. olive oil, 1 (28 oz.) can ground tomatoes, 1 can chopped black olives, 2 tbsp. capers, 1/2 tsp. hot pepper flakes, 1 tsp. tomato paste, 1/3 c. parsley, Salt and pepper to taste, 1 lb. pasta, your choice, Grated Parmesan cheese
