Fluffy Omelet Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 c. milk1 tsp. baking powder
Cooking Directions:
Mix egg yolks, to which you have added baking powder with milk.Melt 1 tablespoon butter in skillet over low heat. Beat egg whites and 1/2 teaspoon salt until stiff but not dry. Fold egg yolk mixture into beaten egg whites. Pour the egg mixture into skillet. Cover. Let cook abut 12 to 15 minutes. I use an electric skillet set at 225 degrees.
Loosen around the edges. Cut the omelet into half, cover with grated cheddar cheese, then flip the uncheesed side over the cheeses side. Serve immediately. Can be garnished with tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms, etc.
