Dorothy's Ribbons Recipe
Ingredients:
4 c. flour5 egg yolks
1 whole egg
3 tbsp. sour cream
1 oz. brandy
Cooking Directions:
Mix egg yolks and whole egg with sour cream and brandy. Add a little flour at a time until all flour is used and easy to handle. If too soft, add just a little more flour to handle. Mix into a ball, put in plastic bag and refrigerate for 1 hour.Then on a board cut in 4. Roll out one at a time, about 12x14 inches. Then cut in strips like ribbons, make a bow. If it stretches too much, cut in half. Half fill frying pan with vegetable oil. Fry ribbons quickly, brown both sides. Drain on brown paper, add powdered sugar.
