Moist Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. raisins
1 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt

Cooking Directions:

Boil all above ingredients for 10 minutes. Cool. Add 2 eggs (beaten). 2 c. flour 2 c. oatmeal 1/2 c. nuts 1 tsp. soda, mixed in flour

Drop on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-12 minutes in 350 degree oven or until lightly browned.
