Danish Lace Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

1 stick butter
1/2 c. quick oatmeal (uncooked)
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. or so chopped pecans or walnuts

Cooking Directions:

Melt butter and pour over oatmeal. Mix dry ingredients together. Beat egg and add vanilla. Mix all together and add nuts. Drop by small amounts on foil-lined cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10-12 minutes. Let stand at least 10-15 minutes before removing. Makes 5 dozen.
