Dot's Caramel Nut Icing Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c. sugar1/2 stick butter
1 lg. can Pet milk
1 c. raisins, chopped
1 can Baker's coconut (1 1/2 cups)
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Cooking Directions:
Cook sugar, butter and milk together until thick, (about 20 minutes). Add other ingredients. Let set until cool and then ice cake (Covers 2 layers nicely or goes between 3 layers). It is good used on a yellow cake mix. You can also omit raisins and coconut and have a good caramel icing.Other Recipes you might like:
