Popcorn Balls Recipe
Ingredients:
26 qts. popped corn (no kernels)1 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. molasses (Grandma's unsulphured)
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. butter
Cooking Directions:
Set popcorn aside in 2 large pans. Cook until soft ball stage as for candy - the sugar, molasses, vinegar and butter using a large pan. Remove from stove when a spoonful forms a soft ball in cold water. Add a level teaspoon of baking soda and stir until it foams. Pour at once over popcorn.
