Opera Fudge Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c. sugar2/3 c. milk
2 tbsp. white corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped walnuts (I prefer to use black walnuts)
1 tsp. vanilla
Cooking Directions:
Combine sugar, milk, syrup and salt. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Cook to 234 degrees or soft ball stage. Stir. Remove from heat and add butter. Cool to lukewarm without stirring and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until thick. Stir in chopped nuts. Pour into buttered pan.Other Recipes you might like:
