Martha Washington Fondant Recipe

Ingredients:

1 box powdered sugar
1 to 8 lb. butter
2 tbsp. cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Cooking Directions:

Cream butter, add sugar and cream gradually. Mix with hand until very cream. Dates may be stuffed with this.

For Chocolate Bonbons: Make into balls and let stand until firm. Melt unsweetened chocolate and pour over balls with spoon while holding ball on a toothpick. Slide onto wax paper and place nut on top while warm. Mints may be made by using peppermint instead of vanilla. Add coloring, roll, stamp, and cut.
