Chocolate Caramel Bars Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix1/3 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. softened butter
1 c. chopped nuts
14 oz. pkg. light caramels
1/3 c. evaporated milk
6 oz. (1 c.) chocolate chips
Cooking Directions:
Mix above 4 ingredients. Using floured hands, press 1/2 mixture onto bottom of greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees.14 oz. pkg. light caramels1/3 c. evaporated milk6 oz. (1 c.) chocolate chips
Melt caramels and milk over low heat or in microwave, stirring often. Spread over bake crust. Sprinkle with chips. With floured fingers, lop remaining cake mixture on top. Bake 15-20 minutes. Cool, then refrigerate 30 minutes to set caramel. Cut into bars.
