Chocolate Caramel Bars Recipe
Ingredients:
1 bag caramels (50)2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 (18 1/4 oz.) box devil's food cake mix
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts
Cooking Directions:
Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk until smooth (in microwave or double boiler). Mix cake mix, melted butter and 1/3 cup evaporated milk for 2 minutes at medium speed. Spread half the batter in greased 13"x9" pan. Bake 8 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool 2 minutes. Pour caramel mixture over baked layer. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Stir 1/2 cup nuts into remaining batter. Drop by spoonful over caramel layer. Sprinkle with rest of nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool before cutting.Other Recipes you might like:
