Salad Dressing Chocolate Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c. flour1 1/2 c. sugar
Pinch salt
1 c. salad dressing or mayonnaise
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. soda
1 1/4 c. warm water
1 tsp. vanilla
Saucepan Fudge Icing:
1/2 stick butter
3 tbsp. cola drink or coffee
1 heaping tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Cooking Directions:
Mix salad dressing with sugar. Add the dry ingredients with water and vanilla. Bake 350 degree oven 35 minutes. You can bake in cake pans or 13 x 9 long cake pan.Saucepan Fudge Icing:1/2 stick butter3 tbsp. cola drink or coffee1 heaping tbsp. cocoa1/2 tsp. vanilla2 c. Confectioners' sugar1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Place butter, cola and cocoa in medium pan. Bring to a boil, stirring often. Remove from heat and add vanilla, Confectioners' sugar, and nuts. Stir to mix well.
