Amish Friendship Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c. sour dough starter2/3 c. oil
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
Cooking Directions:
Beat all ingredients until smooth. Pour 1/2 the batter into a greased 9x12 pan.Prepare strudel mixture: 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. chopped apples 1/2 c. oatmeal Nuts (optional)
Pour over batter mix 1/2 of strudel mix and pour rest of batter on top and pour remaining strudel mixture over top. Bake 375 degrees for 35- 45 minutes.
